Description
Harvested in October, from our Pesquera de Duero, Caserio de San Jose and Roa Vineyards, featuring a blend of Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Alcoholic fermentation in maceration with its skins for 17 days, followed by malolactic fermentation for 25 days. Native yeasts obtained through the harvest of each vineyard. This Blend is Aged in Bordeaux French Oak barrels of medium toast for a period of 4 months resulting in a full body, potent, and well crafted wine.
TASTING NOTE
At sight it presents a deep cherry color, bluish violet meniscus and a high layer. With a slow tear that stains the glass, bright reflections, clear, clean. On the nose some characteristic primaries of our reds, violets, poppies, a balsamic background flanked by spices, and red fruits. Some milky notes of forest fruit yogurt and custard follow, ending with sensations of vanilla, meat and India ink. On the palate it is succulent, enveloping, with an astringency and acidity that cover those 14.5% alcoholic strength, making them go unnoticed. Long, unctuous and fresh.
GASTRONOMY
A wine to be enjoyed at a temperature of 11 degrees, combining perfectly with an infinite number of possibilities, from Iberian pork chops to suckling lamb chops. Serve at 11-12ºC.
